I have always enjoyed THE STARTs of my life. There is something so exciting about beginning … about the first moments … about the unknowns.
I remember the start of my first real job. Walking into a huge corporate building with nervous butterflies and blisters on my feet from my new black heels that made me look “oh so important.”
I remember the start of my relationship with Chad thinking to myself: “Why in the world am I dating this guy? He is not my type. But we are off to a good start.”
I remember the start of my pregnancy with Morgan. Those first little kicks, the mountain of pregnancy books on my bedside table and the feeling that I was studying for the biggest test of my life.
I remember the start of this journey called Rock City. The certainty of God’s call and the realization of what lay ahead.
I am excited about the start of this new blog. I must warn you, however, I am a bit schizophrenic in my thoughts. I jump without notice or warning to the many different parts of my life. This is very reflective of my days as a wife, mommy, believer, leader, communicator, teacher and friend. Here’s to The Start!
